It has some of the best scenery that arizona has to offer, the red rock canyons give most houses a excellent view. You are about 90 minutes from Phoenix and about four hours from Vegas. Summers are in the 80's and 90's, it does get cold on occasions but not much snow. If you have never seen this part of Arizona everyone should make the trip, it's very beautiful.

thanks! after your post and all the ARI suggestions from the other thread, i'm going to make that one of our stops. never been there except the airport and some desert cruising up near vegas. sounds nice.
