Surely if they can get these things to work correctly our insurance rates will go down because there will be less accidents due to bad drivers.

But what about DWIs? If you're buzzed can your car drive you home or would you still get a DWI?

YES they have wings and YOU need any roadway with about 1/2 mile hit 70 MPH and off you go.
