Semi finals play for Sat - U.S. Open

I gave all the options a close look and just couldn't come up with any Trick Pony Plays for today.

I like Federer a lot, but no way at his odds. Dimes offers all kinds of options to play the matches. I'm not biting on any of them; not even the regular O/U play.

I have Clijsters written down for today; she's -237. Just too steep for a single play for me. I believe she's pretty solid though and I'll be using her with one baseballer (Clev @ +111) and maybe a footballer or two. Small wager on parlay. She usually pulls her tank jobs, IF SHE has one in her, in an earlier round and against an oponent that most bettors give little chance. Looks like the oddsmakers give Zvon. a shot and I think that makes the case AGAINST Clijsters' choking pretty good. She is on her game. I would recommend using her to boost an "iffy" play that one of you may have maybe just for the action.

Misc. stuff

Got a feeling my debut in the Football Palace may have been a catastrophe. NO way to make friends that's fersho.

First - I post in the wrong place :facepalm: (Sorry bout that. Guess I was getting to used to coming here). I got that CFB pick over to the right forum while there was about 5 mins. before the second half started.

Then I notice I didn't post the line I got (correct line was 37) sooo... I gotta edit the the dang thing to put what I REALLY got (36 1/2) so I put that in there. TRUTH is that Dimes allows you to move the line ONE HALF pt. for halves for a little extra vig. I almost always accept their offer for halftime plays so I got 36 1/2.

Well, now I got it up there, in the right place, a little late but still a few minutes before second half starts, and with the line I got (@ -118, but I didn't put that part in the post). And the post shows that I EDITED it.

SURE ENOUGH, how many pts. get scored in the 2nd half... YEAH, 37 mo fo points. :mj07:

The whole damn thing looks fishy as hell.. what a debut.

If I was well ahead or even well behind in this touney I WOULD LUV to post what I would play for tomorrow -> RAFA for 6 not so stinkin units. I didn't even watch the Rafa/Youz match today. But I did check to see who won it (didn't even see the actual scores though, doesn't matter to me) so that there's no chance that I post this and possibly look like a complete idiot.

This year, I did get to post (and actually play) my biggest wager on any sport. It was an EIGHT not so stinkin units on MURRAY vs Federer in that Masters Tournament in Canada. I posted it in my old forum, I didn't post anything here for that tourney. Unfortunetley I can't make that adrenalin boosting play this time around cause , for me - if Rafa wins I do pretty good for this Open, if he loses I actually lose a little for the Open. That means no big play for me tomorrow cause the object of this stuff is to make moola and not excite the hormones. Here's a more detailed explanation of that process for our technically inclined VIEWERS....

Now IF Clijsters AND Rafa wins.. well, it just may be time to throw a little pizza, beer, fried chicken, and ice cream party at the Jimboski residence tomorrow night :Kid1:

Maybe I should explain the "hiyas" to Ghost and Petey. Thems had the balls to take a shot tailing some of plays and I think I owe them at this point. Anyways, maybe those "hiya" things may givem a hint?

I think playing EVERY single pick I made may be a losah? Not sure. I think the way I played everything I picked helped me a lot. Getting lucky with the baseball plays, of all things, sure helped. BTW, there was ONE big exception between what I played and what I post. I posted that I waz gonna put some single side action on that dang "Clisters wins 2 sets to 1" nice pick. I DIDN'T do dat :mj02:

I't's just impossible to report exactly where I stand with the picks I've posted here (I just look at the status of the ole bankaroo and it looks good.) with the parlay thingies and all.

For the hormone folks

I WISH Fed woulda won today cause IMO that woulda help keeping Rafa's odd up. I'm pretty sho that his odds will be worser with De Joka on the other side of the net damnit.

I sure don't wanna cost anybody more than I might already have... but, my "trick pony" plays for tomorrow are "Rafa wins 3 sets to ZERO" and "Rafa wins 3 sets to ONE".

Now, I ain't stating that any of this is relevant to today and if Rafa loses today - I'll just give De Joka the credit and accept the lost profit AND admit it was a bad pick. BUT....

Are you aware of the shananagans that has gone on with tennis in the past? Not that long ago neither. You aware of the Russian Mafia stories? If not - just search something like "DAVYDENKO death threats" or "Suspicious tennis wagering". There was, quite recently, another case regarding that last quote too.

I think the line for today's match is a little suspicious and scary and is a TREMENDOUS opportunity for those criminal types to make a serious killing. You know, not too many eyebrows would go up if Joka wins but a few slimball's bank accounts could get a major boost. I wouldn't be surprised if Rafa got a caller telling him that, "you better lose today or else". Hell, even a bogus/bluff call like that could through him off a little out there just thinking about it.

Even though I believe that there's a slim chance that this is the case and surely hope it ain't for the sake of the sport - I am gonna insure Rafa with a stinkin unit on De Joka at +250.

Odds are usually great on these "sucker" type plays and I've had very good luck with them before, ESP. when Nadal is playing. No odds out yet on them. Dimes offers them and maybe some others will for a match of this magnitude.
