3 years ago, October 25th - George W. Bush's staunchest adversary in the senate, very critical of the 9-11 handlings (even suggesting prior knowledge within the administration), voted against the Iraq war, was verbally warned a few weeks prior by Cheney himself that opposing the administration would result in "severe ramifications", was msyteriously killed in a plane crash along with his family.

Pretty amazing set of coincidinces. I'm just sayin. Anyway, I don't think Wellstone or the circumstances around his death should be forgotten.

...and of course Bush installed one of his puppets Norm Coleman to run in the newly vacant senate seat for Minnesota. The Dems in typical bad judgement decided to drag Mondale out of the woodwork. ...Well done, Mr. President - your worst nightmare in the senate became one of your bitches, just like that.

"If you vote against the war in Iraq, the Bush administration will do whatever is necessary to get you. There will be severe ramifications for you and the state of Minnesota."
-Dick Cheney to Paul Wellstone, shortly before his death.
