Senior Nights - Perception/Value?

Does anyone have any numbers showing whether or not "Senior Nights" have any real effect on whether a home team covers the spread?

I always here people use "Senior Night" as a reason to play a home team, but am wondering if this is a useful angle or just a common misconception.

Does anyone have numbers to make an argument one way or the other?

Seems to me it's worth examining before we get hit with a slate of "Senior Nights" the next few weeks.
