Sept. 10..Seattle/Detroit

I took the summer off from capping...and honsetly cany belive the season starts in 2 weeks..

Seattle minus 3...?????

anyways..im starting to look at games..and right away this one stuck out to me...i would imagine that everyone will like Seattle in this one and I tend to agree...Detroit has the weapons but Kitna simply doesnt scare me at all..and Detroit wideouts have big names but little production...with a new coaching staff I think we may see Detroit finally right thier ship and start looking better as a franchise but they will still go through some early growing pains I believe..

Anyone who caps NFL knows the that there is the Superbowl Hangover angle here that calls for Seattle to fall back this year...that may very well be true ..although I dont think much of thier division foes ..so if any team is going to buck that trend it should be this team...all that being said..i still think Seattle has too much for detroit here..and can overcome the field goal spread with detroit having a new head coach..new offensive coord. and new QB at the helm

I usually play against the public so im cautious here and a lot can happen in two weeks with injuries etc...and i can always hedge if the line gets bet up too much..

Pug ..I agree ..I think they may start to gell at some point this year and they def. have the talent on offense to put some points up as well especially with Martz in there as offensive coordinator...but thier talent on offense is purely on paper IMO up until now..in other words they have the potential to be explosive but those wideouts just dont seem to get "it" at this point in thier careers or are injury prone...with all the turnover within the coaching ranks and at QB and no one really knowing whether the big wideouts will get thier head out thier asses this year i think its asking a lot to cover this small number against the NFC champs of 2005...then of course they could explode for 40 points ..especially since im not to keen on seattles D..but that why its gambling..
