You know I have contemplated all day whether to publicly make a compliment on this subject or not and just could not stand silent any longer. I watched in horror as the scenes on television unfolded and to be honest at first all I felt was utter shock, and then I am not ashamed to say being a 38 year old full grown man that has seen more than you can imagine serving in both the Army and Navy I sat and wept like a little baby at the horror that I was witnessing and feeling so helpless to help the thousands of helpless victims of this blatantly disgraceful act of cowardice and believe me no matter what they say that is all it is, is the biggest act of cowardice I have ever witnessed then these people in Palestine celebrating like they did something that took bravery. Then a rage I have only felt once or twice in my 38 years welled up inside of me and like many of you I just wanted to kill all of these people, they know who did this and they will pay of this I have no doubt and the President came on TV and made his statement and many people talked like he was being a wimp but that is not what I got out of it I read in his face the same rage that most of you as well as myself were feeling and in his words that these cowards were going to pay dearly for the acts they have committed against the United States. And I watched as ordinary people came out of their homes and went out of their way to help the victims of this senseless act and I have never in my life felt prouder to be an American than I did today as I saw people of every different race, religion and economic background come together to try and aid any way they could, the mayor of New York even said that they no longer needed Volunteers as more than enough people had come forward to help.
I am sorry if this is jumbled and hard to read but I had to put down on paper how I felt. These cowards have no idea of the sleeping giant that they have awakened because we may have our everyday differences but you watch how this country comes together and rise up to the challenge that these faceless cowards have thrown at us oh yes you have no idea at the consequences you cowards are going to face. I remember another country that underestimated us not so far in the distant past and that they paid dearly for that mistake as these cowards will pay!
