Sergio's chance

I have always enjoyed watching Sergio Garcia play golf on TV. He is one of my favorite golfers and is known to be one of the best ballstrikers out there. Ever since his most famous leap at the PGA a few years ago when he proved white men can jump, he has accumulated alot of fans. But his chances at the British Open this year I believe are slim. He has to be one of the most up and down players emotionally ever. When the sh** hits the fan he whines like a little baby not being able to suck on anything. He then proceeds to let it affect him and heads into a downward spiral. Then days like today he shoots a stellar 29 on the front nine making a charge. On the back nine he looked so scared almost like he was playing with somebody else's clubs for the first time on the back. Sergio is a great player I just don't think he has the balls to pull it off tommorrow. I think Tiger or DiMarco will pull this one off tommorrow. Sorry Sergio

So. Cal
on second thought, sergio will not win
I picked the seahawks to win it all at beginning of playoffs
I picked Mavs to win it all at All Star Break
I picked UCONN to win it all before season started

All of these got me just excited enough to feel let down after they choked
I can only expect the same with sergio

to the year of the choke :mj06:

SERGIO HAS NO CHANCE SO RIP UP YOUR TICKET.HE IS THE WORSE SUNDAY PLAYER ON THE PGA TOUR HE JUST CANT MAKE PUTTS UNDER PRESSURE AND BELIEVE ME PLAYING WITH TIGER IS PRESSURE.I THINK ERNIE ELS CAUGHT A BREAK HE IS IN THE 2ND TO LAST GROUP AND DOESNT HAVE TO PLAY WITH TIGER. I THINK ERNIE WILL WIN THIS OPEN AS FOR SERGIO HE WILL BE BACK PICKING FRUIT IN SPAIN BEFORE NEXT YEAR HE IS A KNOWN CHOKER.

AS FOR THAT GARLIC SNAPPER CHRIS DIMARCO FORGET ABOUT THIS **** HE WONT EVEN FINISH IN THE TOP 10. HE MIGHT AS WELL START MAKING THE ITALIAN SUBS FOR THE REAL GOLFERS SO THEY CAN GET A SANDWICH AT THE TURN.

Bullet, long time no see mate! With you on sergio NOT getting it done tomorrow. Need to look at the real issue here- Tiger leading a major into the final round! Chances of him not holding the Jug at day's end are slim to none and if one other guy does get the edge on the back nine tomorrow, you'd have to think it'd be Ernie. Knows how to win even if he's had a bit of time away from the game early in the year.
BTW bullet, how are wedding plans coming along for you mate??

If he were maybe 2-3 groups ahead...I would give him a better shot than having to stare down Tiger tomorrow. BIG monkey on Segios back, best player to not win a major. Not to mention the circus that surrounds Woods all the time. It completely disrupts his competitor. People are always rushing to the next tee after Tiger putts, and moving around, etc. Not to mention there are usually about 30,000 of them. Sergio is striking it great, but will the putter be there tomorrow? That ridiculous putt he hit on Saturday, left it short from 5 feet  Doesnt set up great for him but we will see.

Sergio 0-10 in final rd Tiger vs last 10 events in common

Sergio only has beat Tiger in final rd @ B.O. once lifetime-- 70/71 2001

Don't believe Sergio has ever beaten Tiger when being paired with him.

Yeah, great test of golf there. A guy is going to win a major without hitting a driver. WTF???

Tiger Woods= The slowest golfer who has ever lived....

theres another one. Sergio was 12 under on the front nine the first three rounds. Today he is 4 over on it. There are some people who have the nerves to be a champion and sergio just isn't one of them. Ernie is handling his bunker shots with the nerves of a champion. The announcer said he would not get the downhill lie bunker shot on like #7 or eight within 30 feet and he put it to like 8 feet. That's talent and control.

I wonder if any of the cell phone companies will do a commercial on how their product is completely disrupting the golf tournament. GREAT THINKING by the R & A to let cell phones out there. UNREAL!
