(love that guy)..
ravens/brownies...two sorry assed teams....
1)how is the o/u 38.5?....the ravens can`t pass.....and i doubt that jamal"tippy-toes in the backfield" lewis will be able to make much hay vs a relatively healthy raven defense...
the brownie passing game is a concern, but we`re counting on braylon edwards to drop his usual 4 passes.....no jurevicius....donte stallworth didn`t practice wednesday or thursday...in a nutshell, their receiving corps is thin.....
the big concern here is kellen winslow,jr...
the ravens actually have a very good running game behind a young offensive line that run blocks much better than they pass block...mcgahee is back along with rookie ray rice and 2nd year surprise power back mcclain....the guy looked like earl campbell in week one...
a deep, diverse group of backs that will probably force the browns to pack the box....i believe they`ll still get their yards, eat up clock....
will flacco be able to exploit this?....probably not...
but,we`re talking under here...i expect the raven offense will,as usual,be relegated to kicking field goals....
i am concerned about cribbs and yamon figurs on returns...i`m figuring that there will probably be one special teams t.d.....hopefully no more(both cribbs and figurs are also both a little dinged up but are expected to play)...
2)i`m gonna take the ravens at home at pick....basically on the running game/defense and home court advantage....they also had a week off...
this is sort of a coaching stand-off....one extremely inexperienced and one just plain lame....
big game for two teams probably going nowhere...
if you aren`t a ravens or browns fan, watching this game will be about as pleasurable to watch as tying yourself to a chair, duct taping headphones to your ears and being forced to listen to yoko ono`s greatest hits for 3 hours...
g.l. to all...
