(Rotation #223) New York +3.5 ? The Jets know that winning this game essentially eliminates Baltimore from the playoffs in all likelihood. That's why there's a lot of public action coming in on the Ravens essentially laying just beyond home field advantage. In the end though, doesn't this just feel like a game that Gang Green comes out and wins? The Jets have alternated wins and losses all season long, and this one would be the spot for a win if that sequence were to holds up.

Opening Line: New York +4
Current Line: New York +3.5
Public Betting Percentage: 64% on Baltimore

(Rotation #215) San Diego +4 ? This is a vintage sandwich game for the Chiefs. They've got the two pieces of bread known as the games against Denver and this big chunk of turkey in the middle known as the Chargers. Just one problem: San Diego is no turkey team. The Bolts have only been out of one game which they have played this year. This is a winnable game for a desperate San Diego outfit that enters having dropped three games in a row.

Opening Line: San Diego +5
Current Line: San Diego +4
Public Betting Percentage: 67% on Kansas City

(Rotation #228) Arizona -2.5 ? If there is a man out there that should be able to figure out what QB Andrew Luck is doing, it would be Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians, who coached up Luck in his rookie campaign last year in Indy. The Colts really aren't in that much dire need of wins, as the AFC South is probably already wrapped up. It's Arizona which is in the thick of the fight in the NFC Wild Card chase, and this is a very winnable home game for sure.

Opening Line: Arizona -1.5
Current Line: Arizona -2.5
Public Betting Percentage: 59% on Indianapolis

(Rotation #232) New England +2 ? Sharp money is pouring in on the Pats this week as 'dogs at home, but the injury report suggests otherwise. The Broncos are expected to have all of their most important players in this game, including WR Wes Welker, who was concussed last week. Meanwhile, New England has its top three cornerbacks all nursing injuries, which isn't good going against what is likely the best passing game in NFL history. Someone knows something, though, as this line is moving the opposite direction of conventional wisdom. Perhaps it's that New England has won three in a row both SU and ATS against the Broncos.

Opening Line: New England +3
Current Line: New England +2
Public Betting Percentages: 65% on Denver

Also I see that both GB and TB were hit by the Sharps too

Cowboys LBs Lee, Durant out vs. Giants

IRVING, Texas (AP) - Dallas linebackers Sean Lee and Justin Durant are out for Sunday's game at the New York Giants with hamstring injuries.

Rookie linebacker DeVonte Holloman also was ruled out Friday. He was a possibility to fill part of the void without Lee and Durant, but instead will miss his fifth straight game with a neck injury.

All the other Cowboys on the injury report are listed as probable.

Receiver Miles Austin (hamstring) and rookie safety J.J. Wilcox (knee) missed three games. Morris Claiborne was out two games with a hamstring injury.

Defensive tackle Jason Hatcher missed the loss to New Orleans before last week's bye with a neck issue. Defensive end DeMarcus Ware aggravated a thigh injury against the Saints after missing three games

Vikings rule Henderson out; AP on track

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) - The Minnesota Vikings will play without middle linebacker Erin Henderson this weekend, giving Audie Cole his first career start instead.

Henderson has missed practice all week due to an unspecified personal matter, and coach Leslie Frazier on Friday ruled the team's leading tackler out of the game at Green Bay. Cole, a seventh-round draft pick last year, was cut for a few days earlier this month in favor of depth at another position and brought back for the last game at Seattle.

So here he is, about to be in the starting lineup at Lambeau Field.

''Pumped,'' Cole said, adding: ''I'm excited for my opportunity to get to go out and do what I've been waiting for, for a year and a half now.''

Another starter, defensive end Brian Robison, was listed as questionable for Sunday because of a muscle spasm in his neck that prevented him from taking part in practice Friday.

With Jared Allen and Everson Griffen, the Vikings have only two other defensive ends on the active roster. Defensive tackle Letroy Guion will be back after missing the last two weeks because of a chest injury, so at least they'll have a deeper rotation in the middle.

The Vikings had better news on the other side of the ball. Running back Adrian Peterson returned to practice on a limited basis after sitting out the last two days to rest his sore groin. He's listed as questionable, along with wide receiver Greg Jennings (Achilles) and center John Sullivan (concussion), who also returned to practice on a limited basis. All three are expected to play. Jennings didn't play last week at Seattle.

For Cole, patience paid off.

He was told the plan prior to being released on Nov. 7, so Kevin Murphy could be elevated from the practice squad as insurance at offensive tackle with Phil Loadholt still recovering from a concussion for the game against Washington. Sure enough, two days later, Cole was back on the active roster.

''It's still not cool. It's not what you want to happen,'' Cole said. ''I understand why they did it. Someone had to go. I wish it wasn't me, but it was. You've just got to take it. I came back, and things have been going good for me lately.''

His backup will be rookie Michael Mauti, a fellow seventh-round pick. Mauti had some swelling in his left knee, on which he had reconstructive surgery as a senior at Penn State. His third anterior cruciate ligament injury in a five-year span caused him to slip down the draft board.

Mauti has excelled on special teams with 10 tackles, third most on the team. He shrugged off the suggestion that his recent minor injury was bad timing, given the opening created by Henderson's absence. He said he's sure he'll get plenty of playing time.

''You can't control what happens to you in a football game. I know that better than anybody,'' he said. ''But I'm not going to be limited Sunday, so that's really all that matters.''

Panthers minus DE Johnson vs. Miami

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Coach Ron Rivera says the Panthers will be without three starters for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins, including defensive end Charles Johnson.

Johnson, who has 8 1-2 sacks this season and 21 sacks in his last 23 games, missed his third straight day of practice Friday with a sprained knee suffered in Carolina's win against the New England Patriots Monday night.

Rivera said Friday Mario Addison, Frank Alexander and Wes Horton will split time at Johnson's spot.

Starting right guard Chris Scott will miss his third straight game with a knee injury and starting linebacker Chase Blackburn will miss his second consecutive game with a foot injury. Backup tight end Ben Hartsock (knee) is also out.

Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy returned to practice Friday and is listed as probable.

Ravens TE Pitta may make debut Sunday

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) - Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta might be ready to make his season debut Sunday after being sidelined since July with a hip injury.

Pitta returned to practice this week for the first time after he dislocated and fractured his hip on the second day of training camp.

Baltimore coach John Harbaugh says Friday ''there is always a chance'' that Pitta will play Sunday against the New York Jets.''

Pitta says, ''We're going to see how I feel (Saturday), see how I feel the next day and go from there.''

Although he's had only a few days on the field, Pitta says, ''It's amazing how quickly it can come back. I'm feeling strong, running well, so everything's positive.''

Pitta had 61 catches last year for the Super Bowl champions.

WR Welker expected to face Patriots

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - Five days after leaving a game with a concussion, Broncos receiver Wes Welker was cleared for full practice Friday and listed as probable for Denver's game against New England.

''If you had the `Definitely will go' category, he'd probably be on there, too,'' Broncos interim coach Jack Del Rio said.

Welker has passed NFL-mandated tests that have allowed him to gradually work his way back into practice with the Broncos. He was out Wednesday, limited Thursday and full Friday.

''First and foremost, we want to make sure we've done the right thing by the player and he's safe to return,'' Del Rio said. ''Obviously, we'd like to have our better players available and he's one of them.''

Broncos tight end Julius Thomas was limited and listed as questionable.
