Sorry Jack. I bet that was one lucky dog living in your house. Try to have a good weekend.

sorry to hear that Jack. Had dogs all my life, nothing compares to the unconditional friendship and love they give. Keep your chin up.

Man. Sorry to hear this Jack. Our pets can be closer than family. No words will ease your pain. May God rest her gentle soul....

Peace

brings tears to my eyes MJ

lost one about 6 months ago myself and the only thing that ended up helping was rescuing another one and thinking that the space that opened up in the house ended up helping another dog

terribly sorry

Thanks for the works, folks. It's tough.

When I got her home I could see she was frightened as she struggled to breath. They gave me a 2pm appointment at their facility that is better equipped for these things but I decided to take her in early. My wife asked me "she's gonna die, isn't she?" and I told her I didn't think so. Within a few minutes she just collapsed then really struggled to breath. When I massaged her chest she seemed to respond so we held her and continued with that but it was getting bad so I rushed her to the car and took her to the hospital. She didn't make it. I know most here have been through this before as have I but it doesn't make it any easier. Gonna miss Kaylee for a long, long time. :(

Thanks again, I think it helps to talk about it.

So sorry Jack. As the life long owner of many, many pets and animals (currently 4 dogs 3 horses) I've been through it quite a few times and it never gets any easier.

Where it is real F ing COLD
This morning I let her out to pee and poop and she struggled on the way back in. She wouldn't drink or eat anything and was having trouble breathing. I called the vet and they could see her right away so I took her in. Vet said it sounded like she may have fluid build up around her heart and said I should take her to the other office where they have x-ray equipment among other things for giving tests. We went back home and was gonna take her in at 2pm but she started getting worse. She died, just like that. My poor baby Kaylee is gone. It hurts my heart so bad. RIP little girl.

Sorry to hear about this. Remember the good times
