does anyone know how to get to shea stadium from I-95. i am thinking of driving up there for the phillies game tomorrow. i also need to know about tickets also. any info would be appreciated.

You can buy tickets outside the stadium all the time especially on the weekend.
99.9% of the time, the tickets are real so you don't have to worry.

Take I 95 North to the I-678 S exit, exit number 6A , towards Whitestone Bridge.
Merge onto HUTCHINSON RIVER PKWY.
HUTCHINSON RIVER PKWY becomes BRONX WHITESTONE BRIDGE.
BRONX WHITESTONE BRIDGE becomes WHITESTONE EXWY
Take the exit, exit number 14, towards LINDEN PL.
Merge onto WHITESTONE EXWY.
Turn LEFT onto COLLEGE POINT BLVD.
Turn RIGHT onto ROOSEVELT AVE.

You can catch the Whitestone bridge off 287 or if that seems complicated take the NYS thruway/Major Deegan to the Triboro bridge and follow the signs....Don't forget about the construction/blasting at the Elmford exit...give yourself ample time incase of delays....
