i know alot of guys won some cabbage on this bout...this guy is pretty boxing savvy...he was there...here`s what he saw....

...........Hi all,

just by chance found out this fight was on whilst I was on holidays here in Sydney so I went along with my brother. Only a 1000 souls in this large arena used by the Sydney Kings, the local basketball team, still a small bunch of vocal yobbos (Australian term for vocal drunken football fans) provided for some humerous moments.

Darchinyan was all offense, no defence against the South African. Fikali got to land plenty on him. Worrying is Darchinyan's leading arm. He keeps his elbow really wide and horizontal at nipple height, allowing the shot under and the shot over. Gives him plenty of turn though, which he uses to belt people. His non-stop offense eventually wore out Fikali who quit at 2:20 of roudn eight aftre a bone-jarring uppercut. I can't help but think of a young Vargas, watching him. Hopefully -------- will print the full report that I just mailed to him.

Ndou looked good on the undercard and won a short fight with a crushing body shot. Nedal Skinny Hussein won in the first with a body shot as well.

cheers

pretty much what you guys thought....darchinyan is a very offensive fighter....

just some additional info....
