The Panthers have been on the road of late (they played last Friday in Montgomery and then were in Lafayette, La., on Monday) and I think the Huskies will find points easy to come by versus the tired cats from Atlanta. Georgia State doesn't rebound well and it does defend the three-ball well either. They do shoot well from beyond the arc, however.

Northeastern has palyed some rather low-scoring contests of late. But those came against defensive-minded George Mason, versus Holy Cross while missing top-scorer Jose Juan Barea and against a Wright State squad that specializes in taking the air out of the ball. Well, Barea (22.7 ppg) is back and the Huskies will encounter a Georgia State team that would rather run than play defense.

Earlier in the season, the Panthers faced a Delaware squad, which like Northeastern, likes up-tempo basketball. The result was game that featured 171 points and easily went over. These teams will get up and go tonight.

Northeastern is 180th in the country in field goal defense while the Panthers rank a poor 254th. There will be plenty of shots hoisted up in this game. The Huskies average 79 points per game at Matthews Arena and they'll lead the charge in sending this game OVER!
