or wait a few more weeks until the football season starts? Would the sign up bonus be that much different then if I signed up now?

think it over.., for football season must books will have new bonuses.., either if you are a new customer or already have the account.
So maybe it will be better to use a couple of books so you can know for football season which ones have what you need (want).
Also, very often the sign up bonuses have higher rollover than the reload bonuses..
