Tonight i look for Atlanta to hang in until the end and get the cover...the Rams w/o Faulk should not be laying 11 points here...Atlanta has been written off - but should still be able to put up some points on the Rams defense...I think the Rams make a few turnovers & let Atlanta in the game...

Showrunner... you mention trust in your SUNDAY thread, which I find very ironic based on an earlier statement from you. You said,

Of the two posted plays we got to see, you lose 7.3 Units. For those who do follow you, that's a pretty hard hit. You said you would be back with a SUN NITE play, which you did not post. Based on your earlier statement about dogs, one may be inclined to think you were on SEA. Sooooo, you leave the great people of this forum without a play on the NITE game, and down 7.3 Units. That's fine. We are all grown men and women (Cool Chick & others) and are responsible for our own actions.

However, it is in very bad taste to come back later, after the NITE game is over and talk about the great SF comeback and how you made two huge 10 unit plays to have a great day. NOBODY and I mean NOBODY that looks at your plays wanted to see that. If you played them and won, great for you. You're looking for pats on the back and kudos without bashing, keep dreaming. The only thing MJ'ers saw were the two losers. If you want respect at this forum, then document your plays as you have and only include POSTED PLAYS in your record. Otherwise, your record holds the same weight as those of JIM FEIST & his cronies. :nono:

Again, this is not bashing. Don't take it that way. I'm merely pointing out a bad practice and giving you some constructive criticism. What you did was not only a bad practice, but extremely bad taste. Nothing like a little salt and rubbing alcohol for the gapping hole in the backside.

I appreciate your hard work and the effort you make in doing your picks/writeups etc. I would be one of the first to say congrats on the BIG DAY if I had seen it posted. BUT we didn't, so in the future, save the celebration on the big win for your friends who were with you and KNEW what you had on the line.

BTW... I'm not suggesting you didn't play the games. It actually makes no difference to me. I sincerely hope you did step up and hit the those two homers for a huge day. I would never imply that any MADJACKER was dishonest or purposely accuse any of you. This site is the best information available and the fact we all SHARE this info is what makes it great. BUT I've been around a long time and I know this will turn ugly if you don't heed this advice. RESPECT is earned over time, post your plays, your record and allow your posted results to speak for themselves. The respect will follow.

Again Randercity, i have explained myself & read my last post in the other thread - that should be good enough...but now you are really digging & trying to accuse me of things - please don't - i did lay off most of the dogs during the day - but before the Sunday night game when all my friends & other locals I know seemed to be on the Seahawks - i decided to play the 49ers - i was NEVER BRAGGING ABOUT THE WIN...just commented on the game..this is getting WAY BLOWN OUT OF PROPORTION!! I have explained & wish i would hear "thanks show for listening to our side & concluding that you will not be including in your record plays not posted after this"...but to say what i did was "bad practice & bad taste" - come on - it is obvious I am concerned about my image around here - and it is obvious i meant no harm - so why not forgive & forget? You guys seem to keep digging for reasons to bash me...i hope this doesn't keep up...I don't deserve this treatment - all i have done is been real nice to everyone...

And im not taking a shot at you cuz i do post my ytd since i've posted and they have been ugly #'s . but if you gonna post ur record your still using the +20 unit swing ...

TeddyKGB - i am a little confused - I DID ADJUST MY TOTALS - i adjusted it from picking up 12.7 units to losing -7.3 units...hope you can see that - anyways i am done with that - i am only concentrating on picking more winners! I did not do anything to come across as a scam - after all i am just posting because i enjoy it & want to help people - i don't get paid for it or anything - that is why i am frustrated & wonder why people have to accuse me...i have nothing to gain from posting a not up to date record - but anyways i already said i will post record of only posted plays - and took the 2 plays i didn't post away - end of story...let me know why you think i still didn't adjust my totals teddy...

I have no idea anymore. again im not trying to call you a scam, was just giving a reason why people might have been upset. and again i follow what you post carefully and you are on point with ur pics, and i wish i could be up 70 units... but i never can catch a break and im a huge falcon fan (unfortunately) so me just watching them win would be good enough for me. again im just nit picking .... u can search my posts and see my wonderful posted records my best sport is college hoops... but i've lost confidence in my own pics and barely post... im just hovering around break even on my bets. gl to us ... hopefully the falcons win outright

I hate to pile on Showrunner here, but it also disturbs me when people try to pad their record with plays that were not posted. So, for those who think this is a first time mistake by Showrunner, look back to his NFL post on 9/21 or read the copied messages below. I remembered seeing this post several weeks back and wondering what the hell? But, like many of you are doing right now, I just took this first offense with a grain of salt. Now that I saw this recent transgression and see that he is back to his "Sunday Night NFL Magic" I thought it was the prudent thing to make everyone here aware that this isn't the first time Showrunner has magically hit the Sunday night "Bailout Special", both side and total, but mysteriously both times now they were not posted, but count towards his record.

The following is his thread from 9/21 where he admits to the brutal day and the following posts say nothing about any plays for the Sunday night game, just that maybe he would have one, then poof.....abracadabra.....after the game is over, he posts "the Fish and Under for 10 units each really bailed me out!" HA! I guess nobody else noticed this, but I just HAD to bring it up here in the forum. After seeing this new dialogue on the subject it clicked a light bulb off in my head and I went back to search for the post. Now if I am totally ignorant here and his post of Miami and Under was in some other thread forgive me as I am totally mistaken. However, I didn't see it anywhere. If I am wrong copy and paste that post, Showrunner, and I will right a whole new apology thread to clear your name. I just think that somebody trying to do this one time is sort of understandable, but not twice! Now, for all I know Showrunner could be the undisputed king of Sunday night NFL, able to pull the correct side and total out of his ass every week, but never getting the chance to post. That is fine, but if you don't post it we don't want to hear about it post facto. Though I am just a lurker and rarely contribute to the forum with picks, I feel credibility with posters is a big deal. You guys be the judge. If I am wrong for bringing this up, go ahead and flame me, but I think some of you might appreciate it.
