I often wonder this. I would bet most are from life experiences.

The signature I use came from my high school Biology teacher who used to say this all the time to the point of being annoying. He is suprememly superstitious, and I always found it very funny. I'm also one of those "conspiracy theory" guys who believe that there are many "FIXED" games in the sportsworld even at the professional level involving players AND referees, so if you are on the right side of a fix, you are lucky, and it doesn't matter if you are good or not, lol!

While I got Six-five up here got to tell a most unbelievable story how I met this fellow.Couple of years ago a site had a year long contest in hoops with several guest handicappers of which Six-Five was one.I was alerted to him by one a connection fron Jacks and had quite a year piggybacking his selections. At the end of the season I emailed site asking that they forward message to him that I would like to send him a Ky ham for his efforts (in addition to the $1000 he won in contest).Received reply from him thanking me but stated he lived in Ky also. After exchanging emails come to find out we live only a few blocks apart.Small world!.We decide to meet for round of golf and when I ask how I was to recognize him he said easy,I'll be wearing a Dallas Cowboy hat and I'm [6'5"]

Be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant with the weak and wrong---Because at some time in your life you will have been all of these.

Show me who you walk with and I'll tell you who you are.

On the course!
DTB,

You are ten times the man sixfive is!

(based on total posts!)

I used to have the signiture, "May your bookies children go hungry!"

I had that for a year, than I changed it a few times.....I rarly use it anymore, and actually, don't remember what it is!

I will stamp this one, to see what comes up....perhaps I will change it again.

Somebody gave it to me as a joke a few weeks ago. I thought I would use it here for a while and see if anybody figured it out.

I thought about using "Sofa King" as my username. That is one of the few jokes that I haven't forgotten. Too funny after about a six-pack.
