Well I have looked and perused and thought and came to the conclusion that this is an event to probably avoid like the plague - however I was tempted enough by the 66/1 Bet365 put up about Paddy the Swede who is a winner, has won in the Far East and is gradually coming back to form

Was considering giving this week a miss..... but then my name isn't 'bettingmad' for nothing!
Early thought was Raphael Jacquelin who I think could win one this year after lots of good finishes last year and 5th already this season.
But the main man has to be the 'local' talent Thongchai Jaidee.
It is difficult to equate lower tour performances to main tour events (see Tucson thread for more of the same) but he is the leading player in Asia and recently won an event. Indeed on this this seasons Euro tour he has a 2nd (Asian Open), 13th (Hong Kong) and 10th (J Walker). Not seen better better than the 25/1 at SportingOdds so far. (16/1 bet365/ladbrokes)

Have to agree that Jaidee is the pick this week, against a second division Euro challenge...25/1 seems fair enough.

Also like Prayad Marksaeng, but can't see the 66 at Bet 365 lasting too long...he was 2nd at the weekend and is one of the few with recognisable course form.

The last selection is Arjun Atwal, who comes here after finishes of 4th and 5th...50/1 Sportingodds and Chandler.

Local boy John Kernohan that lives down the street won the Singapore Open on this course which earned him a free ticket to the only PGA event he ever played in,the 1997 British Open.
Shot a final rd 68 there and finished 38th.Thought you'd all be dieing to know that.:p

fair start, but have to add Rodiles...a player I've been watching for a while...
25/1 Blue Square the best avavilable...hopefully he can make the most of an early tee time tomorrow

With 2 rounds to go William Hill seem too short on the favourites to me....15/8 N O'Hern & 4/1 Faldo (3/1 & 7/1 available elsewhere) Anybody else agree?

Consequently some other players are bigger than with others bookmakers... for example
Marksaeng 33, Romero 40, Leaney 50, Hansen 50, Jaidee 50, Kingston 50, Tinning 66, Green 80, Rumford 80 - are all much shorter in other places.... But which one?

Nice tip Clive.
After my post on Friday I took a little of the 80 Richard Green and was hoping your man might throw a wobbler (nothing personal).... but it's not my week... Olly losing (McCarron in the final after my comment in the Nissan! All this week when I have seen his name I kept thinking how funny it would be if he won)... and I let Magee go unbacked (pending)... but it's only money and there's always next week.
