I'll offer a little prize for anyone who picks the winner this week. Have had the driver that won the 1996 Singapore sitting in garage for 11 years and time to get rid of it-however any non continental winner may be obliged to pay shipping. :)

My pick to win is Els (sorry not goin out on a limb).. He sounded extremely confident on his blog.
You can keep the prize though.

I need a good week this week last week went 0 - 3 in matchups losing the 1 big play by a shot

The one and only play of the week is

The driver in contest is Callaway-7.5 degree firm shaft---Way too much club for me.

Spike McRoy initially gave it to me--He would always stay at my house at local Hooters event--he finally made it to pros.

Didn't take but a few tries and knew it was too much club for me--so left it in trunk--John Kernohan
and I used to play a quarters game on short shots at practice green here--and he made comment he was thinking of changing drivers--I told him about club in trunk a got it. # 1 tee is right next to practice green--he teed up 2 balls and hit both on green (bout 320 yds). He was leaving later in week for Asian tour and asked if he could take it--and the rest is history. He quit hitting it about a month later and gave it back along with driver of buddies of his Brian Watts as a gift. Will keep it as it is prettiest driver I have ever seen--Its a black PRGR. Only play with it once a year--at a little event Japaneses have here--It is very popular club in japan and almost impossible to get stateside. I like to watch them eyeball it when they see it :)
