Man I'm stupid. Been meaning to cancel since February because my charges for 2 cars went to $79 a month but I like the service.

So I called to cancel today and they dropped me to $22 for both cars. I'm in.

Why can't they just be honest and always give us the best deal. I almost told them to FO out of principle. Reminds me of DirecTV.

Because there are many that, like you, plan on doing it, and they go months and months without getting around to it. They're in business to make money, and if people don't bother to call, they'll just keep collecting. It's not unlike any other form of subscription service. Actually, they're a LOT easier to cancel than most subscription services......I know all of this because I was a dumbass just like you last year:facepalm:

Now I wonder if I would have gotten cheaper if I have held off and not accepted the first offer. Oh well, I'm happy now.

I hope everything is going good for you KS.

Besides the 2 hurricanes that have just passed through and nose surgery in the morning, I'm doing pretty well.

Hoping the same for you.

Yes, you shouldn't be paying more than $6/month for the service. That is normal if you stay on them and don't allow them to jack the prices.

I’ll be calling in the morning and cancelling— to see what I can get for a new price.
the monthly renewal hit my CC today and I’m paying 33.76 a month for 2 cars…fuck that noise— looks like 16.88 a month should be the cost for both cars.

Yep that's how you do it. They wanted like $394 for the year and when I said i would not be renewing they said $10.99 a month. It is a really good service especially since I drive 40K miles per year

I guess I'm still getting screwed but I agreed to the $11 and am happy with that compared to what I was paying. After this year I'll keep that in mind.

Did it all via chat. Quick and easy…
Wife’s car is 5.99 a month before fees and taxes, mine is 8.99 a month before fees and taxes as I took the premium package they offered.
I had just renewed my car in September, so I’m actually getting 93 dollars in a refund and I’m paid through 11/11/23.
Thanks for starting this thread, boss :toast:

NICE!

I'm still paying more but I'm not going to bitch about it. I think their business model blows.
