After watching Jivan play the last 2 yrs for UTSA think he is a steal for some team in the NBA draft tonight. Not sure if he is on anyone list tonight but some fans at the UTSA game last year told me he was on the San Antonio Spurs watch. That was a security gd at the game that gave me that info. He led the nation in scoring 2 years ago and last yr was No 2. What he did vs teams in the Sun conf was a lot like what Trae Young did in the NBA this year. He can shoot from the 3,has a handle and can penetrate and pass. Outstanding offensive player He is only 6'0 and his defense might be a reason teams might pass up on him. But if this kid played at Duke,NC or any other ACC team he would be POY. He can play. Shoots fade aways and doesn't hit the rim. Swish If they had a stat on "swishes " he leads the nation. Range is unreal . But again I cannot measure his defense on an NBA scale. A great passer and very unselfish. Going to be interesting tonight to see if he gets drafted...if not then its his defense that has NBA scouts were worried about. Did Trae Young play great defense.. This kid does have emotional problems but he can "ball"

jdg...lol so true he fits the perfect NBA profile. didn't watch the draft at all I'm sure he didn't go in 1st round.. going to be interesting to see where he goes or if he gets drafted. But I still think he can play with the big boys. I remember at a Texas St _UTSA football game I was sitting next to 3 UTSA football fans in the stands. I asked them how was jivan doing and all 3 didn't even know him. I told them he led the country in scoring for your UTSA basketball team. They didn't even know of him I guess you don't ask a basketball question at a football game in Texas.
