It's now Tuesday and 4 of my outs still haven't graded/scored the Heritage/Corecom 72 hole bets. Plus I had 2 graded wrong again this week. The error rate at a couple of outs has been really high this year. I have averaged about a mistake a week for the last two months. The least they could do is make a few "in my favor". Why is it they always get it wrong AGAINST ME? Funny how that works!
I think the clerks get confused by lowest score winning, compared to every other sport they cover. It also leads to my pet peeve about "stroke lines" being incorrectly stated as "+1.5" for the dog and "-1.5" for the fav when it isn't logical in golf context's for strokes to be stated that way. I guess they consider them "handicaps" but it just doesn't seem logical to me. More of these popping up all over lately I noticed. It used to be you would only see them for Tiger!
