kelson pinto(-130) under 6 rounds.....pinto is a 6 foot tall slugging jr welterwt phenom from brazil....recently signed with de la hoya.....16-0(with 15 k.o.`s).....beat miguel cotto in the amateurs....

facing 41 yr old richard savage...savage is 41 yrs old....was out of boxing from 1991-2001.....he is 5`7' tall....was originally a pretty good bantamweight(15 yrs and several weight classes ago).....he is 35-7.....but,at 41 yrs old, fighting a much bigger guy who is a vicious puncher...i`m taking a shot.....it`s possible that savage may run....and that would jeopardize our wager........not a retirement type of wager...don`t remember savage very well.....i know he was k.o.`ed many moons ago by the great carlos zarate(that`s how long this guy`s been fighting)......

just checked...this thing has lost some value....now at -160.....i should have posted sooner....or maybe not(if it loses;) )....i wouldn`t go crazy at -160....anything can happen...

i use olympic....they are solid, have been around a long time, and recently have been posting all kinds of obscure bouts.....and cam, take my word, some of the obscure bouts are the ones that show great value....like last night....savage was 42 yrs old and had been out of boxing for 10 yrs! prior to 2001(and at a much lighter weight)......he comes back, fights a few crappy guys(lost to his only live opponent, lewis wood)....gets in with a much bigger guy,who just happened to be a super amateur and had 15 k.o.`s in 16 bouts.....they don`t always win, but, there are some decent boxing guys on here....g.l......and,i would suggest olympic..

a small wager

a small wager

on under 6 rounds in the kermit cintron vs frankie sanchez(-130)......cintron is 17-0 w/16 k.o.`s and only one of his bouts have gone a full 6 rounds....he`s 5-11" and sanchez is 5-6".....

cintron does nothing but go for k.o.`s....but,sanchez is much more of a warm body than richard savage last night.....he may stay away(which would be smart)....he is 11-4 w/ 7 k.o.`s......2 of his losses were by stoppage....

a lesser play than last night due to the fact that sanchez is a decent guy that may just try and survive... .....nothing else tonight thrills me....wanted to play something....this is the best thing i could find.....g.l.remember,a smaller play than last night.......g.l.

Gardenweasel,

How long did the Cintron fight go into the 6th? I had over 5 1/2 rounds at Olympic and they still have not graded it and can not find an official time anywhere.

Thanks
