There are a lot of rematches between not only teams but pitchers that faced each other last weekend, particularly Sunday. I caution cappers to beware because for whatever reason, when pitchers face each other in back to back starts ... they tend to split.
That being said, I see a lot of people on the Padres w/ Eaton who beat the Dodgers w/ Dreifort as a dog on Sunday. I think the Dodgers will win tonight so I am staying away.
I have been on fire ever since returning from vacation even though I rarely am able to post. Anyhow ... this is what I took tonight.
Cubs -115 over Reds
Phillies/Marlins over 9 runs flat... two struggling pitchers with the ball carrying in the hot humid Philly air.
Braves/Mets over 9ov -120 ... another rematch between below average starters ... went over Sunday and I don't see any reason that should change tonight.
Giants -113 over Cards ... Cards w/ Kile beat Giants w/ Rueter Saturday ... I'll take the Giants in the rematch tonight
Red Sox -130 over Bluejays ... same as above ... rematch and I am taking last weekends loser and the better team and pitcher.
Red Sox/ Bluejays under 9.5un -120
Orioles +130 over White Sox ... taking the juice with Towers who lost to the Sox Sunday in his worst outing of the year.
