First of all let me aplogize about yest's banner day.Overall 4-7.But 0-4 on my strong plays 4-2 on the med. plays.I wish I could say it was a typo.Pretty bad job capping.Will rebound today hopefully.Like So Bama big.
So Bama -7 over Marist
Marist has lost 3 in a row.To Ga Tech,Cent Mich and Fairfield.They are playing better on the road then at home though.But they are hurting for bodies.They are down to 7 scholarship players.And Ellerbee the pt gd has scored 4 pts in his last 2 games since his ankle sprain.He was their second leading scorer avg 13.Eppehimer is their leading score avf 20 pts a game.He is a 6'8 wiry kid with a nice touch.He cannot post up.Handy is also 6'8 and must play the post.He is a foward and not very strong.Young has really stepped up and is playing good.He is avg 9 pts and 7 bds.Bennett is the 2 gd or pt gd.He is in trouble vs quick gds.He is avg 12 pts and leads the team with assits at 4.But he is turnover prone.The 2 local kids are avg playing over there heads.
So Bama has a new coach.Pellfrey.Donovans asst at Florida took over for marine sgt Weltich.That tells you something about the Jags style of play.Uptempo.pressing,trapping,fast breaking,etc.And he has the players to do it.[I'm going to post this and come back in an hour] I don't want to lose it. sorry
