So hear i am at home not working Car trouble

like late last night started it up to move off crosswalk clear by 2 feet this morning turn key to start it makes sound like this pppfftttttttttt then sounds like out of gas hard crnk but will not start.

SO i call up my mechanick to come to my home and get me fixed.

Meanwhile i search for possible causes ........fuel pump not enough pressure, The fuse to fuel pump.

Water in lines. Fuel filter clogged.

So one post i read said turn key to on position wait 10 secs then try.

NO good so i try again pumping the gas pedal bam it starts

Aint going no where till we replace fuel filter and clean out throttel valve body and lubricate the butterfly'

My Man Tony is tied up taking care of another be about an hour or more,

2011 dodge caliber Heat trim 91700 on it hardly any real troubles except the fucking alternator

wasnt alt was the pulley bearings then the new one blew yaer later what a jo local pep boys was

went to other one guy turns the pulley in hands says yes it's blown

15 mins later we outta there

took about 1.5 hours to put new one on

here i sit waiting losing a days work

maybe go in work the rest of day till 11 pm

or fugg it just work sat n sun but bad weather may lose sunday expect ice storm

Are all mechanics named Tony in your area? Maybe u could pick up some Uber shifts to make up the difference.

WEll sems the problem was this grabge gas we use today and fridgid cold weather causing gas line clog or too much water in lines from driving on almost empty too much

Tony came with that thingy too check for trouble codes ...no codes ay all everything is fine.

SO now once amonth will but the top grade STP gas system cleaner and lubricant cost was huge $14.60

but that 16 oz bottel and half tank of premimum gas wow my car is like taking off too quick idle RPM is stronger

love my lil caliber hardly any real mechanical trouble except the pulley of the alternator.

Thats was costly new alt $185 $85 to mechanic for installing it with my help to hold in place while he set the long bolts in place .
