Hope you and your family are safe and well. :toast:

We're good - Now that Sports is back, my world is right.

Well except for Wells Fargo - If any of you MJ'ers do business there, please consider finding a new bank. If you bank with a National Bank and have a small business, please consider finding a local bank as well.

They announced that they couldn't process PPP loans because of a 1.95 Asset Cap sanction levied against them for illegally creating ghost/dummy accounts prior to 2019. The Fed lifted the sanctions but nearly every application in the first go around of funding missed out except for those that were closer to the 10M level. Meaning they processed not by order received but prioritized by amount.

Not a single PPP loan application that we helped prepare that was submitted to Wells Fargo was processed including ours which was submitted on Saturday April 5th, the first day Wells Fargo accepted applications.

They reduced banking hours, would not take phone calls related to PPP and just don't seem to care about small business or individuals.

This all started before the PPP disaster. After the sanctions were imposed, our local WF took away the popcorn and coffee machine that was in the lobby for people that had to wait in line for the 2 tellers that were working. I have not seen more than 2 tellers since the sanctions even though they have 8 teller booths. They then reduced hours on the drive-thru and lobby from 6pm to 5pm. So if you got off work at 5pm, you were SOL. They had some kind of cyber attack in 2019 and in my opinion lied that a fire in a Philadelphia warehouse shut down the computers in the lobbies and took down all of mobile banking for 48 hours. This new world of lying has no consequences unless under oath is rough on me. That situation screamed cyber attack and most likely ransomware of some sort. I took checks to be deposited that day and they accepted the checks and gave me a receipt but the money couldn't be deposited until computers were back online. It took an hour to make a deposit that wasn't a deposit. I told them I could have used some coffee and popcorn during that wait. ;)

A local small bank, who took care of all of their customers first opened up to taking new PPP applications. They did not ask that you opened an account with the bank but it seemed like that was expected. They processed every loan we brought to them within 48 hours and all but 1 has closed and money been funded. The final funny thing is that Wells Fargo sent me an email telling me that my PPP was still in the Queue and I should possibly try a different bank. They do not have a way for me to cancel my PPP application now that we have a new option and they will not talk about the PPP on the phone so I can't cancel it that way.

The tl;dr - Joshnaudi hardly ever shares his opinion on here so the 1 time that he does probably means there is a reason. Eff Wells Fargo

I agree on WF, we made the mistake of getting a mortgage loan from them. What a pain in the ass that was...I can not imagine having to deal with them again, EVER :0074
