Kerry Daughters Booed at
MTV Video Music Awards
by Landon Howell Bio Email
Owner & Editor

CLINTON, MS -- It appears that MTV push of
Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry
may not have paid off as well as possible.

In an appearance at Sunday nights' MTV Video
Music Awards the two daughters were greeted
with some cheers, but many boos.

At one point one of the daughters even held her
finger to her mouth in an effort to "shush" the
roudy crowd. The shush made little difference
in the audience attitude. The boos only grew
louder when the daughters suggested that the
best choice for a President in this years' election
was their father.

This comes as a surprise to many due to the
liberal stance MTV and their parent company
VIACOM have been said to push on their
programs.

I see the Bush girls got the same welcome. Only differance was they showed up by video. Maybe the peole at this show didn't come to see election BS.

i heard both booings......Kerry daughters by far and away were booed muhc much more than Bush's...

makes sense though....all the extremists from the left are in NYC this weekend involving themsleves in such things as "naked aids day" and saying such things as "Health care is our right...fight fight fight" and "Splish splish splash....i need a bath" also... you may here "My name is Bob....I dont believe in a job" or how about "Raise that tax...help me afford my crack"

I don't recall them saying this, but I guess I could be mistaken. Both sets of daughters seemed to only push the need to vote, not who to vote for.

djv is right - they were booed because the MTV crowd don't wanna hear election ads.

Of course the MTV crowd is generally clueless and don't realize the stakes to their futures.

kosar the guy who adds his own context to others' words so that he can twist them as he may

everybody loves guys like that

cant understand a little bit of humor nor can he recognize simple obsevations that are not politically correct....anything not politically correct as taught to him by his freshmen world culture's wacko professor is arrogant and condescending

no my friend, arrogance and condescending is the view that govenrment is the be all end all for everone....when in trouble, government will help you....you need us....you are uncapable of taking care of yourself....this is similar to the majority of the folks protesting on the streets who mooch off of others their whole life

but i guess it is arrogant to call a spade a spade

Really? I didn't realize that. That's not much of a generalization, is it? Why do protesters (only the liberal ones of course) bother people like you and Dogs That Bark so much?

they dont bother me....in fact i am glad they are exercising their right.....as long as they do it peacefully

i just find funny what kind of crowd is attracted to the democratic party year after year.....especially when elitist liberals are constantly demeaning conservatives
