Just realized i messed Up on title of this thread. This thread will go to may. I do a separate one for June and July , not sure how to change that? I hate being unorganized and looking at the month June in this title makes my eye twitch lol .

US soccer is an absolute embarrassment and has been for years, and I’m not talking on the field. We are the only country in the world where the only way you can play soccer and play at a high level is if your family is rich or at least well off. Our sophomore who is ranked top ten in country and #1 in state has an ECNL tournament this weekend in Florida. She and other cup players on our team are in different cities multiple times a month, flights, hotels, food, car rentals, etc… average family can’t do that let alone multiple times a month. One family estimated last year it costs Them 25K last year alone for a year worth of cup soccer totaling everything and travel..

now we have the ridiculous soccer mom trying to get a coach fired. Look, i made It known Reyna was prob our most skilled and talented player and should of played.. but he didn’t, coach made that decision and now a mom wants to blackmail the coach because her son didn’t get playing time? That shouldn’t happen in HS and certainly shouldn’t happen in professional sports. Gios mom should be embarrassed.

America is only about money when it comes to soccer and if you don’t have it even If talented you don’t have a chance.

i actually don’t think they can get rid of Berlhalter now as it will Show the Reynas are running us soccer and have all the power.. it’s not a good situation

part of me thinks Gio can never be on the national
team again ?
