Hey I am far from a soccer expert........in fact I know very little with regards to international soccer:rolleyes:

but hey what the hell..........I placed a wager on the following parlay:

Arsenal to beat Fulham
Chelsea to beat Spurs
Man City to beat WBA
S'hampton to beat Man Utd
AS ROMA to beat BOLOGNA

odds $20.53

pays mighty nice if I win:D

do I have a shot????????

anyway.............look forward to some soccer (ok football whatever:rolleyes: ) picks from you guys that actually know a thing or two:p

If the yacht doesn't work out, you can make a bid on Private Petey's dinghy. I heard he's selling it cheap.

GL mate :)

Playing these:

Have to back the home team getting a start here; just the recent loss v Liverpool the only time they haven't picked up a point at St Mary's and confidence will still be high after winning away at Sunderland. Utd do look a better side of late but hate travelling to the south coast for this one and have come unstuck many times in the past. An away record of just 3 wins from 11 matches (Liverpool, WBA and Charlton) won't bolster that confidence.

PLAY SOUTHAMPTON +1/2 (2 units)

Upson's move to Birmingham is timely with Purse out and injury worries over Vickers and Cunningham but Clapham's arrival from Ipswich also stiffens things. I expect Steve Bruce to play it real tight as a point away for the Brummies will be another invaluable step on the road to staying up and stop Bolton from closing the gap. Morale at Bolton can't be that great with Ricketts moving to Boro just before the end of the transfer deadline.

PLAY BIRMINGHAM +1/2 (2 units)

With JFH back, Chelsea appear good value at Stamford Bridge, where they have drawn v Man U and Arsenal and beaten the likes of Newcastle, Boro and Leeds. They have dropped of the title chase a little but could also be consisdered a little unfortunate to have got nothing from trips to Highbury and Old Trafford recently. Spurs are in a slump, having lost 4 of their last 5 and have won lost seven away matches already in the league and have Robbie Keane in doubt - home side should be to fluent.

PLAY CHELSEA -3/4 (3 units)
