well, it looks like we are doing pretty good with our new soccer picks. nothing stands out for today but i am sure the european cups will bring many plays in the next few days.

ok i really don't like to play on english minor leagues because i don't seem to get it, very unpredictable. but a small play on wolves i think it's worth something, they are playing pretty good (or so I heard) and very good record at home, scoring lots of goals

10 units on Real Madrid @1.44 (bet365)

i am trying to find reasons not to pound money on real today but i can't find them. real plays in cold moscow against lokomotiv. this is the situation: if real wins, they are qualified to quarter finals. They COULD qualify even with a draw or loss but they have to hope Borussia doesn't win in Milan. If I know these Real guys, they won't care about Borussia, it's all on them, they want to win with no help. Real is playing very good in the Liga, they are arguably the best team in the world with the best players who have fun playing soccer. Lokomotiv is out of the qualifying picture and this might not be disadvantage but the matchup is really in Real's favor.

I also hedged with LokMoscow + 1 1/2,
looking for a one goal victory by Real Madrid,
where both wagers will cash in.

real won as expected although i was thinking they would with many goals. gotta remember to stop playing english division one soccer (another loss)

not many books offer this game but i think it's worth playing a few. wisla is too superior.

a bunch of plays on CL

3 units on Inter @ 1.70
2 units Inter/Leverk OVER 2.5 goals @ 1.75

Inter needs to win and I think although they are missing some key players (but careful Crespo might come back and he scored 10 goals this season in CL), they should get the win they need.

3 units on Newcastle @ 1.75
2 units on Newc/Barca OVER 2.5 goals @ 1.80

newcastle also needs to win and hope Inter doesn't. I think british style soccer with all the public in favor of Newcastle will have them win the game. also Barcelona is already qualified and should play with young players.

2 units on Ajax +0.25 (handicap) @ 2.08
2 units on Roma/Ajax UNDER 2.5 goals @ 1.85

Roma needs to win but is missing Totti their key player and i think it's a huge loss. Ajax plays extremely well on the road and they only need the tie. Without Totti, I see Roma having problems scoring

2 units on Valencia -0.25 (handicap) @1.91

Valencia only needs to win and Arsenal is not playing very well. Also Arsenal has a chance to go through also with a loss.
