manchester united vs chelsea. should be a great game ,even for the soccer haters. now put a few euros on manchester united +125 and sit back and have a few lowenbraghs and enjoy the game, if your lucky enough to be home on a tuesday afternoon.

Only playing for pride. Basically, the only way they could get 2nd place and avoid a round of qualifying for the Champs league would be to win both remaining games, have Arsenal lose both and somehow outscore Arsenal by about 10 goals. But some things they might be playing for:

1) Finish the season undefeated at home
2) Send a message to Chelsea for next year

Not sure it is alot, but with these 2 teams, I think just playing each other will be enough to make this game a fight.

Is there anything for these teams to play for moe? I know Chelsea wrapped up the title....can Man Utd. gain anything from a win today?
man u still has some meaningful games left,fa cup included ,so they need to be in form.chelsea on the other hand has nothing to play for,i wouldnt be surprised if they played some bench warmers today.man u wont dissapoint at home.

I love Man U in this spot. Mourhino is even talking about strategy and motivation for NEXT year. They have some league records they can play for, but some of those are Man U records - so I figure the Devils may actually be more motivated - especially at home.

John Terry out. Sounds like Cech and other starters will rest again too. Gotta figure pride + homefield + more to play for will be enough for Man U.

I follow a lot of these games on ESPN Gamecast, http://soccernet.espn.go.com/livescore/results?league=ALL&refresh=45&cc=5901

Wow! I'm shocked by Man U's meltdown. They dominated the first half, but were tied because of a terrible goalie blunder. Then they just flat out lost it in the 2nd. How could Sir Alex have allowed such an embarrasment at home? I'm really surprised by this - they should have had a lot more to play for than they showed.

Watched it myself on Fox. Man U just could not do anything - wasted a ton of good chances and Chelsea made them pay for every single mistake. That hurt bad.

i was more surprised with chelsea.dont get me wrong ,theyre a great team but youd think with the championship wrapped up and out of champs league theyd have nothing to play for and just fold after man u goes up 1-0. but no, they go on the road with nothing to play for and rip manu.i tell you there isnt no nba type chit in the epl.

I thought it might be their most imperssive performance of the year for the above reasons - and w/o Terry, Cech, Robben, Drogba and nothing to play for, they put a hell of a beating on a fired up Man U team that hadn't lost at home all year.
