I took Paraguay with my local, now i never bet soccer but he says ties are a loss in soccer for ML's. is that true? The game ended 0-0??

Well with a local you should have asked before the play if it was a 3-way play.

What odds did you get on them?

There are mulitply types of lines in soccer.

Most common is the 3-way odds though which I am sure is what he gave you.
