December tests squad depth more than anything and the bigger clubs have the advantage. Line may be low due to City's road struggles, but now that they're all focused on fixing it, it shouldn't be the same trouble that it was early in the year. Southampton's normal goalkeeper is out with a broken finger, their second choice keeper has back problems and their third-choice is a 21-year old Argentine who Southampton got from Gillingham before last year and got dropped to third. Chelsea scored on him twice in 30 minutes last time out and a punchless Villa side scored all three times they put a ball on goal.

Manchester City -132
Manchester City/Southampton Over 2.5 (-115)

Adding to ManCity and the over, Chelsea for an away win against a punchless disorganized Stoke and just think that the Kansas City weather plays into the favor of the team with the tactics that work best in those conditions with a crowd to will them on.

Manchester City -134
Manchester City/Southampton Over 2.5 (-122)
Chelsea (ENG-P) -165
Sporting Kansas City (USA-MLS) +104

unlucky on the Man City total. some great chances that just weren't put away. a few by Aguero that he normally finishes with ease.

not sure if you watched the game but Osvaldo scored a beauty

I saw it. Looked like both bets would be home free in the first 30 minutes. Southampton played better than I expected and I thought City's road woes were down to focus and I didn't think it'd be a problem with the gap on the leaders getting bigger......but they looked disinterested, slow and sluggish the last 60 minutes.

Liked the Osvaldo goal, but loved the celebration. We just don't see many machine gun into the crowd celebrations anymore.

Today. . . Just a feeling that both teams have too much to play for to be positive and keeping the errors down will be the focus.

Everton (ENG-P)/Arsenal (ENG-P) Under 2? +108

I'm not watching, but it sounded like it's an inch of snow

Saw the highlights. More than an inch of snow.

Just watched the city match. City were dead to rights but then instead of being professiona, Munich wanted to embarrass them and woke up a team full of reserves who are also all internationals. Stupid, arrogant Bayern.

hey BBC, what was your wager in the Galatasary/Juventus game graded as? the total? I just tried to correct the book I was using because they graded it as a loss when it should have been nullified and they went off the deep end

Wager was cancelled at 5 dimes.

yeah, assumed this was the case at many books.

my book graded it as a loss though, well my former book. after I corrected their error they went on a rant about me trying to take a shot and closed my account.

I'm battling this right now with my local. Everything I see says that if the match is abandoned and doesn't resume within 12 hours of the original start time, then it is NO ACTION. Sorry about your shitty book screwing you. I hope mine doesn't do the same.

That's almost every sport - not just soccer specific.
