Took a little time off from soccerball after losing on new years day. Down about 15 units for this year and January and February have historically been bad months. I've been gambling on soccer for about 5 years now and I'm probably up a little bit overall but it's not from being astute tactically or understanding match ups. It's always been from having a better feel for motivation and priorities. So I'm going to try something different this February. I'm going to focus on fading the teams in the middle of the table who can't break into the top 4 and are longships to get relegated (stoke, newcastle, swansea)and also fading the teams that got promoted this year (Leicester, burnley, qpr)as this is the time of the year that their small squad sizes begin to show. I see no value in backing any of the top 7 teams as they are as good as they're going to get this year and they have a lot on their plate with European competition coming around later this month.

Southampton -114
Sunderland +1/2 +100

Both teams pride themselves as being the more proactive side. I see both teams pressing hard and going for a big number

Arsenal/tottenham over 2.5 -125

Villa haven't scored in over 9 hours of football. But last time out they were clearly more attacking and gave arsenal big gaps to exploit and Chelsea plays that game better than anyone

Chelsea/Aston villa over 2.5 +106

Hull looks to be dead, but I've seen city make these types of games difficult in the past

hull city +1704
Hull/man city draw +683
1/4 unit each

No rapinie, no solo and Alex Morgan coming back from injury against a strong french side who still thinks the U.S. is a major scalp
