Good Call BBC !

:toast:

FA cup handicapping. It's just like NFL preseason.

"Pellegrini?s side travel to Carrow Road on Saturday for the first of five games in 18 days in three competitions.

But the Chilean insists they are not about to start prioritising one over the other despite them being halfway through a Capital One Cup semi-final, into the last 16 of the Champions League and with the Premier League title very much in their sights.

?The priority for my team is to have the mentality to try and win every game, it doesn?t matter which competition you are playing,? he said. ?After that, you see how many games you can advance in each competition.

?It is important to try and every game because that gives you an ambitious mind, a lot of things that for me are very important.?

-------------

I believe that pellegrini will rest Aguero, Silva and Toure for this game and he always rests Hart for the cups, but City has talent throughout their squad...at least enough to face a Norwich team that has to treat the League as more of a priority than City.

"Arsenal, then, can afford to only look upwards. ?We want to win every competition we participate in,? Wenger said. ?The FA Cup is one of them, and is an important competition.

?Confidence is a global thing and you cannot really separate it from one competition to another. You want to feel as well that your team is ready for every single challenge"

?The club?s first priority is to stay in the Premier League, and that?s what the owners tell me.

?People talk about the manager?s priority, but actually every club?s first priority comes from the owners, and the owners will tell you that they want to do well in the FA Cup, of course they do, but have you got the capabilities and the squad to do that?

?At this particular time of the year, have you got enough players fit who are capable of producing those performances??

No, may be the short answer.

?You could say we?re going to play one or two young players, although one has already played quite often, but there?s another one who hasn?t played yet, who?ll play,? said Allardyce.

?The rest will be players who have played in the Premier League this year, and who have been in the squad all season.

Arsenal heading for their third straight FA Cup and Sunderland can't wait to get out of this competition.

"We treat it as any other game, it's a game we want to win, yes it's an FA Cup game, a lot of teams up and down the country might make some changes but for us it's a game we want to try and win.

"e will make changes, if you look at our philosophy in the cup games in recent seasons it has been that really, we have rotated our squad, we have used the players who haven't had as many opportunities that they would have liked and it is a really big window for them to come in and show what they can do,' he said.

BBC - Eastleigh hurt with a goal in the 88th, but I had Bristol City +400 as well. 5th minute of stoppage time when only 4 were supposed to be played at West Brom:facepalm:

Sheffield made it interesting as well. I absolutely love these 3 days of cup competition

I do too. This round and the next are great. Once it gets to March, this turns into a burden and it's a lot less fun. The premier league took it a lot more seriously than I thought they would and it was a pretty tame day.
