Italy's physicality and ability to push people off the ball will give Japan a huge headache and there's no one that will be able to mark Balotelli.

Like the under in the Italy game. Also thought about Brazil under, but i'm not sure about Mexico. They could get killed.

Like both of these plays. Heading to a local bar that everyone goes to for games. Should be a fun day for games with lots of Italians, Mexicans and Brazilians there to watch it. It's a lot different than watching American sports at a bar. You have people that like one team or the other and are loyal but nothing like rooting for your team and country.

I agree. It's just not the same as heading out to watch a Blackhawks, Bulls or Bears game. I think college football is most similar, but its not the same. Have a blast!

I would assume that some Faroe Islands qualifiers get that high, but I can't remember one. I don't think that Spain is going to try and bury them, but they could get there on accident.

Nice job, IE. I would have missed it.

Great call IE.

Wow, Neymar looks to be the real deal. Mexico needs to figure out how to finish in the final 1/3rd.

you're missing a pretty exciting game......

glad i don't have a dog in the fight, but games like this are what make soccer a cool sport. not the kick the ball around midfield crap. lot's of space in this one. actually very un-italian.

Both of my kids started when they were 5. My daughter is 10 and son is 9 not. She plays for FC Dallas and he just had his first day with a small independent club yesterday. I never was around soccer when I was young and didn't know anything about it. I wish I had one more kid now that I know how everything works and what I should have been doing with them. They play every sport but watching them play soccer is by far my favorite.

My daughters team is cool for her because she practices at the FC Dallas facility, gets to go to the games for free and gets to go down on the field before games. She thinks she's pretty hot stuff.
