As much as I hate RM that away goal they got was big and gives them an edge. I think it will be hard for Juventus to score on the road here.

I argue with my die hard soccer friends about the away goal deciding things. I hate the idea of that happening. If todays score is 1-0 and RM then I don't see that being fair. What's worse is when the game in the 1st leg ties but they score so at home all they do is park the bus. Much like FCD at Seattle last year in the playoffs and also LA at home vs. Seattle. It makes for ugly soccer to me.

I love the away goal for betting purposes because there's plenty of games where a 0-0 or 1-0 suits both managers, but I like it for watching the game too. It provides less of a chance for the game to be tied and I think the game opens up when there is someone who is winning the match.

Thank you Gareth Bale you fucking piece of shit and same to James Rodriquez. Issco what a fucking joke.
How does my sad ass team Olympiakos beat Juve in Pireaus and the all mighty Los Blancos can't win at home. Bale has been a disappointment this season and the fans let him know. Thanks for letting me vent Bobby :0074:toast:

I think it's funny how everyone jumps on Bale. At least Bale was busting his butt and putting himself in positions to fail. Like I tell my son, never be afraid to fail.

Ronaldo was nowhere to be seen. He's the best when his team is up and they need to get to 4-0 instead of 3-0 or if they need a pk but in games like this he's been absent too many times. Bale missed some shots and headers but what did CR7 do?

Bale is a beast but he is in now way their problem. Their problem happened when di Maria left. He was a BIG reason why they won last year. His ability to break down the defense on his own and then set everyone else up for scores is missing this year. They have too many finishers(great ones at that) but not enough guys that can get it on their own before setting others up.

agree completely wood, I thnk Bale did great for his team and gave them a few chances, now if Ronaldo would have helped they might have won.

Ronaldo is a me, me, me player, looks good in the mirror, has speed, power. But he isn't the player Messi is. Thats why Ronaldo has always felt threatened by him. Bale is playing for the wrong team and is being held back. If he goes to United, his career will be back on track. Bale would do himself a huge favour to move clubs.
