Always tough to gauge each team's motivation in the Europa League. Some teams/countries take it very seriously and some teams take it serious once it hits the knockout stages and other teams see it as a burden all the way through. It's rare that a second division side like Wigan make it into the competition and it's very tough for them to put up a proper fight as they have more games to handle in the Championship, have a smaller roster to deal with it and there's no monetary motivation to perform well in this competition and further progression will hinder their success in their league and in their domestic cup competitions.

It was clear from all the headlines when he was hired that Owen Coyle's number one priority was to gain promotion back into the Premier League.

"The priority is getting back to the Premier League," added Whelan. "Europe is not the priority and while we are proud to represent England in that European league, it is not our priority. Getting back to the Premier League over two years is [the priority] and it may take that time."

He has a 1M pound bonus to do just that. So while he talks about wanting to get into the next round of the Europa League, he's going to be ecstatic if they don't make it.

Their opponents SV Zulte Waregem are a young Belgium side in this competition for the second time. They are first in their domestic league and are in great form.

This bet isn't likely to win, but it will happen a lot more that the ~ 4:1 that's being offered.

Zulte Waragem +388
