3 of us were talking about a small group of 'Vegas Dealers' that threw in $10 each and let it ride a couple of seasons ago.. Last we heard they won 7 or 8 straight and were rolling it all on ONE game only.
Well, 3 of us thought to try the same thing ,with each throwing in $100 and we shall try to 'roll' it into a Nice Piece of Change.
We got started out win a comfortable win in the OVER Jets/ Cincy @42...
I hope this little sidebar to my normal plays does not conflict. Anyway, we hope to have some fun with this one.Got to start thinking of the 'play' for week #2 - for $600.
Any of you guys tried this type of 'parlay' before?? I know you can get cold feet if you get past week 4 or 5, but we hopefully got to hang in there and hope we are still alive !!!!

well,it's only Wednesday but I "think" I have a play for WEEK 2!!!
The way Buffallo screwed THEMSELVES with ALLROUND play on both sides of the ball very late in a game that they really did have the "W" in makes me look at their position this week.
I feel they have a solid hatred for the Raiders,and probably a little self loathing for themselves. I feel that both teams will play it pretty tight(as Buff. loves to develop a ground game and play keep away,especially on the road). I really don't see the Raiders scoring a large number as Pitt. made Gannon look pretty good on some REALLY BAD defensive plays.
I expect to see "Drew" throwing the short,high percentage passes mixed in with approx. 30 rushing attempts.
In short , I 'believe ' the play this week has to be UNDER BUFF/OAKLAND for the above reasons.

$600 UNDER- BUFF./RAID. @ 38 1/2

Guess a little $$ has come in on the UNDER as I just took a look at 2 "places" and they had the Total @ 37 1/2 and 37.I don't look at weather predictions any more as I found out that this is very often a VERY MISLEADING piece of information!!So I hope the weather is just fine and the boys get 'down and dirty in the trenches'

Man,a 3 point point move on a low number as it was at 38 1/2. I don't really like it when piles of "public $$ is going one way". I osometimes will go the other way just with a 'small play' if I don't have a significant amount of action already going (in other words,just for a little fun).
Sometimes I might shop around for a middle play,but we are only talking about $600 ,and I REALLY LIKE the play,so I'll just sit on my hands ,and see if our 'little experiment 'can get rolling into a decent piece of $$$.

Good luck on your play. Weather is one of the most misinterpreted factors in my opinion. In fact, bad weather can often result in an OVER in my opinion...but the bettors naturally think UNDER for some reason. You'll see the total dive on the hint that the weather "might" be bad...screw it.... Unless you've got a torrential downpour and an unplayable muddy field, or a severe snow/ice storm, don't worry about the weather. If anything jump on a nice OVER oppurtunity as the total takes a dive, if the weather is reported to be slightly bad.

I like your call on the Under. Buffalo has a very solid (and underrated) defence IMO. Good luck!

NOW, glad to see you liked the UNDER in the BUFF./ RAIDER game. Yes, the Buff. Defense is rock solid and I just loved the way the game fell into our "thoughts'about the game. Hope the result was helpful to as many as possible that got in on this nice spot.

I really could not see the OVER being threatened,I guess I was being a little Houdini in calling a 3 point final, but I DID NOT play the Side, just the Total, which is fine, as I'm not a greedy person,I'll take 'em one game at a time. :)
I think Buff. "D" will have to rise to the occasion next week, as an 0 and 3 start will be very tough on a team that lacks an Offense of much quality.
Good call on the Bills solid "D" today GM, Hope you reaped the rewards as my 'little 6 Unit Play " did. The saga shall continue for another week (and hopefully alot longer). Good Luck All...SPANKY :clap: :clap:

EARLY LEANS for week 3 ...
UNDER MIAMI /PITT.
UNDER GIANTS/CLEV.
OVER CHIEFS /HOUSTON ( I really think THIS IS the play!!!! )
UNDER SEATTLE/SAN. FRAN.
UNDER RAIDERS/TAMPA BAY
Welll these are the few games that I have "THE PLAY" narrowed down to . Leaning very hard towards the OVER CHIEFS as I really don't see much ,if any Defense , on either side !!
I know (as we all probably do) that we figure there is NO WAY that K.C. is going to start out 0 and 3. Thus, I really believe they will rely on what they did best last year,and that is lead the lleague in scoring ( scoring 40 plus points in just about every game( and giving up points already against teams not really known for their Offensive abitities). Houston can willingly move the "pill" as evidenced last weekend in totalling up 386 Yards in Total Offense. A repeat of this against a very soft Chief "D" should give us a comfortable cover in the OVER.
I.m going to spend the rest of the afternoon rethinking my values I have placed in the key positions and will finalize my "play "for WEEK #3..
Strange game last night, sort of glad I had no position (as I would have played MINNY if forced to do so ). Hope the majority of you guys made a little $$ to start your week off with a PLUS TICKET ... :clap:

I knew Preist is out. My thinking is that this may reduce the rushes -say down from 30 to about 23 and we will see a more aerial game- maybe see a 400 yard passing day against a pretty soft Houston "D".
The Number right now is 47 1/2. I hate second guessing myself,but I do want to think just a little further before I 'jump in' ,as it is a $1200 play now, so it makes the cheese a little more binding shall we say.Anyway,lots of time left, so I'll be back with "THE PLAY"..

Despite a few "buddies" that feel I am TOTALLY WRONG about this one, I have put my $$ where my mouth is,bellied up to the bar and said " Please give me $1200 on Kansas City Houston game to go OVER 47 1/2" thank you very much " !!
Anyway, that is the 'play' this week,and it was thought out from the 3 of us ( and I'm glad we all agree,shit,if it does happen to go down ,and stuff certainly does happen in this league,there won't be any crying or finger-pointing).
Anyway,that's it.
$1,200 OVER 47 1/2 Hou./ K.C.

GL, Spanky on the KC/HOU OV. The line open at 47.5 to 48.5 then back down to 47.5. I think that a good sign for playing OV???

I am going to coattail you on the OVER and might parlay KC -7.5 and OV 47.5 for a good amounts tomorrow.

Ho well.Shit happens and had FUN along the way..
The number was a 'defifite ' and I feel the play was made correctly..
No regrets,we will simply have to regroup 'the boys' and start the ball rolling again...
Lots of potential,lots of FUN. And nobody is pissed off, and that to me a VERY SUCCESSFUL 'shot' at some decent $$$

Solid 3 Unit play UNDER BUFF/ N.E. @35 1/2.
I feel that Buffalo has NO Confidence in it's "O",so they will rely on a Defensive Stand.I don't think they will remember the blowout they handed New England last year,as this team is mentally not capable of remembering this result going into THIS YEARS game !!! New Year, New Team= New Result and totally all new game plans on both sides of the ball.
Thus, we WILL see the short -high percentage pass mixed with the 40 rushes .

It smells of UNDER the 35 1/2 !!!!!

Hey Spanky, tough luck on the loss.Just an idea. Bet 300 and win. Hold back 100. Bet 500 and win. Hold back 100. Etc. Etc. If you win 4 or 5 in a row, you have a little nest egg when you lose. Just another idea.
