HELL
I need some therapy this week/month/year since many of you responded in my other thread. Tough week. Just a real bummer. Share some pictures. Here's both my girls from a few years back.

Unfortunately my guy below doesn't have much time left I fear, his health has gone down hill quickly in the last year. This was taken during a pit stop on our drive from Chi to Colorado 2 year ago, felt it necessary to have Herbie get a picture with the stadium.

Wrigley is my youngest. I got called for her two years ago. She was found duct taped from head to toe in a cardboard box in a Walmart parking lot. Now a beautiful, friendly, intelligent friend.

This is Payton. My oldest and most loving dog ever. She was found in a raid being used as a bait dog. She's getting older now too. Not sure of her age but I'm guessing about 9.

This is Eeyore, a.k.a. Beau. He was a pup taken from a breeding facility when he was still about 3 weeks old. I bottle fed him and food has never been an issue since.

And this is Scout. She was my first foster that I ever adopted out. Luckily, my girlfriend at the told time and good friend now adopted her and I still maintain a close bond with both her and Scout. The dog is usually much more excited when I visit. Lol.

This is a picture of Zeus and Chaos, they were the family dogs. They both died a while ago but the entire family still misses them. They were best buddies and loved car rides, here they are waiting for a car ride. In fact in this instance Chaos wanted to drive:mj07:

I miss them so much, absolutely incredible dogs.

Clara was the best. Just an awesome dog with a super personality. Lived to be almost 17 years old. I miss her every day.

Here's Clara's lil' buddy we rescued to keep her company in her later years (also on my profile page):

The whole crew rollin' deep. The red dachsie, Napoleon, stepped in to the pack leader role when Clara passed away. All of them have really strong personalities.

Sorry for bumpin, but...
Took half the day off just to spend some time with Scooter (the one on the right)
We have been drinking for several hours, for some reason I thought of this thread.
Thought we were gonna lose her about 2 months ago, she is still here, but she cannot see now.
It has been HELL, trying to train a 13 year old dog that cant see, hosing down the front garage 2-3 times a day because of what all the meds did to her system.
But she is still here.
Amazin how many people asked me when she first got sick "are you gonna put her down" People can be assholes!

had a cat go blind from diabetes(thankfully you don`t have to deal with the shots, the testing etc)... .....yeah,i know,it`s a cat...it doesn`t matter when you become attached to an animal...

it`s not easy,bud.....keep things familiar(things like rugs help them navigate and understand where they are)...

if that other dog is yours,i`m guessing it may be a big help to the sick one...

I feel for you and the pup....
