These are plays where the current ATS number is off according to the power rankings I used. This is the first week I have ever used power rankings-

Ball St./UCONN

UCONN is a 57, Ball St. is a 58. Considering UCONN is at home that is about 3 points.

60-58.
UCONN should be favored by 2, they are favored by 6. Even more of a reason to follow Hellah's play.

Troy St. at Missouri.
Missouri-75
Troy St. 63

Missouri at home 78
Missouri should be 15 point favs, they are 10.5

East Carolina at West Virginia
E.C.-69
W.V. 75

West Virg at home is 78.
Should be 9 point favs, they are -7. There are also a lot of other numbers that support W.V. I will post later.

What do you all think about using Power Rankings? Are they a waste of time? All info appriciated.

No, I don't think they are a waste of time ... I don't use them, but they do have some merit I would think.

Only problem is this: When there exists a discrepancy between Vegas' line and yours, its usuallybecause they have some info or insight that you or I don't. So I don't think finding discrepancies between the power rankings and the line means they mad e a mistake, or necessarily that its a good play. In fact, especially in NBA basketball, I usually go with the books on the whacked lines.

Good luck.;)
