I've just heard many good things about this Kazmir kid throwing for them tonight! The Mets were VERY high on him while recruiting him...still baffles me on why they traded him for a pitcher almost twice his age??? This kid is supposed to be VERY GOOD! I guess we will see tonight in his first test in the big leagues....just a word of caution for those taking SEA tonight...I just wouldn't be surprised if he came out and pitched very well and made the Mets look very dumb by giving him up. D'Rays did finally win one....could they actually put together a streak? I wouldn't touch this game, but just wanted any thoughts from anyone if they've heard the same thing about him as I have or different.....thanks and good luck!

he is suppossed to be great. the mets may know something we dont as they gave him up for zambrano. you would think with rick pederson as their pitching coach they would keep all their home grown talent. the mets had no plans of bringing him up this early, but pineilla is ready to see what this kid has. their whole team is very young. that is the only problem with betting them. all of their pitchers have the ability to shut someone down as we saw yesterday. with brazelton, sosa, and now kazmir they have some of the best young arms in the game. they just have no offense , no one to hit the long call. also check the status of carl crawford tonite as he sat out sunday,
personally i wouldnt play this game, the kid pitching for seattle is pretty good and should handle the rays

just my thoughts, good luck either way you go
