Denver rolls....KC beat a hapless no-running game New England, KC looked like world beaters.....check their schedule for quality wins... heck, they lost to Buffalo....the home field advantage at Arrowhead will not matter when the Denver running game kicks in...glta

I'm not saying I disagree with the play,in fact I show Denver winning by two,but you asked for a reason so I'll give you one:KC has been the #1 home dog in the league in the past 8-10 years,covering close to 75-80% of time when getting points at home.Have fun,hope you win at whatever you play,this one comes out too close to the # for me.GL

Denver has the #1 run defense in the NFL, giving up 79 yards a game. They are the better team and SHOULD beat KC, but you never know with AFC West rivalry games. Also, KC has been playing very well lately. I agree with edludes, I think this will be a very close game. Good luck to you.

interesting, i decided to stay away from this game b/c i like denver way too much, but the darndest thing happened...my fingers temporary developed their own minds, and placed a bet on denver..i couldnt stop them...everytime i try and hedge it by taking kc my fingers freeze up..anyone else ever experience such sickness?
Howabout this stat for you Kansas City has not lost a home game in December in over 4 years with a current 16 game win streak.
I have this game Dead even factoring in the home field Advantage. it's like betting the coin flip at the Superbowl to Me.
I'll just watch this one from the sidelines.
Greg, I have the same trouble only with Liquor stores. I want to just drive by but my Truck always pulls in and once i'm there i have to go in even if it's just to look! :grins:

Looking at the schedule for the rest of the season,KC goes to Dall then goes to NY for the Giants the next two weeks,comes home for SD and Cinn.Brutal schedule,they are on the cusp of wild card contention.If they lose Sunday then go on the road against the NFC East,they can kiss their season goodbye,hence a playoff style emotional effort will come from KC.Denver has a two game divisional lead,won an emotional nationally televised game we all saw on turkey day,and they know they play Baltimore in Denver next week(sure win)then at B'lo the following week,and then Oakland at home and san diego on the road.Looks like Sundays game is a lot more important to the KC team to me.Not that that will make the difference,but finding who's more motivated is one of the keys.Too close to call,good luck to you.

Tough call for sure. My numbers call for a 1-2 pt Denver win. But they number is maybe a little skewed in that the Chiefs are healthier than they have been all season.
The Chiefs have not lost at home in December since 1999. Chiefs 11-4 at home vs Denver, L15.
LY, Chiefs 45-17 when Denver was headed to the playoffs, KC was not.
