My effort to help BN was misguided yesterday: The best advice he received was from posters telling him to address his gambling problem rather than his BR. I still think he might have a shot at becoming a recreational player, but not if he manages to win a few this week. That false hope will doom him in the long run. Nonetheless, my picks produced a little profit and today I will take a shot with . . . Home Run Lose Lima!

Lima seems to be getting the ball down, threw seven shut out innings last week against the Royals and gave up only 3 hits and one walk. Maybe he really does know this is his last shot at the big leagues for a while.

Garcia is either injured and not talking about it or just plain tired. Since the AS break, his ERA is 8.64 (!!) and he has been reached for 26 hits and 16 runs in 16.2 IPs. The Rangers got to him for 6 hits and 4 runs in 6 innings five days ago.

The line of +260 looks too good to pass up.
(Playing the over 8' might be a reasonable hedge here, but I think I'll stick with the big dog.)

My only other official plays will be Hudson on the runline -135 over the Tribe and Fossum +155 over Sele.

Fossum is well worth a look because Sele has thrown more than 100 pitches five straight games and will give up a few runs in the early to middle innings Rested Angels' pen or not, I think that Fossum, a solid prospect with some major league experience including a solid 9K game last week which his pen blew for him, will win this one. I look for seven or eight good innings from him and no more than 4 or 5 from Sele before he blows up.

First off Best of luck on your Lima pick...you never know when it's Lima Time

More importantly, how the hell do I have gambling problem? I hate to disrespect you guys but your the ones who post messages all day on who your gambling on. I personaly detest gambling, to make a long story short I kind of got pushed into it and then my will to win carried me through a little longer than I should of. Was it a mistake? Hell yes! Do I regret it? yes and no. I could quit gambling at any time and will before the fall, just wanted to give it one last push and needed sp,e expert advice. If I lose well hell life goes on, I have many talents and I have no shame in saying gambling is not one of them. I wish all of you the best of luck but please don't be saying I have gambling problem.
