Something to add to one of Nolans writeups.

In your writeup about Carolina vs. Minny you commented on the Panthers offensive line giving up 67 sacks last year.
The Panthers did address this deficiency by signing Todd Steussie, Jeff mitchell and Kevin Donnelly in the offseason.
It might not make a big difference early this season but look for this unit to improve as the season progresses.
I might mention that this O line did struggle during preseason.
Chris Terry and Jamar Nesbit are the other 2 starters.

You must be a fan..I too live in Charlotte and looking at a very long season for this team. 5-11 at best. The addition of Steussie is a positve but, who will run the ball.
Timmy B. is a turnover or an injury just waiting to happen. I can't see this defense stopping anybody. The secondary is very soft ann a speedy group of receivers can exploit that all day. With the release of Jeff Lewis on Sunday, the only words of encouragement I have for you is, may your God have mercy on your soul if Weinke gets hurt. If all this sounds rather bleak...bekieveme..it is.

Make some money on your coach. Seifert has not lost 3 times in row to the spread in like 8 years. This includes his stay with the 49ers.

Understand your point comcerning Seifert. But let me know thw next time he lines up on either side of the ball. the fact is..he just doesn't have a lot to work with this season.
Rookie QB With no kind of backup
NO running game at all
Suspect defense including a weak secondary
suspect kicking game. Casey is not 100%

I do live in Charlotte but am not a Panthers fan. I was just adding some info to Nolans write-up, I wasn't picking a side. Personnally I agree the Panthers will be luckey to win 5 games. From what I've seen I think they have one of the worst defenses in all of football.
Eventhough the over is 46 I can see the Vikings scoring 35 by themselves.

I like the over in this game. Hopefully the Panthers will be able to put up 21 pins with some late points and push this game over.
