Sooners face Tigers in Big 12 conference title game

The No. 4 Oklahoma Sooners could be looking at a BCS championship spot with a win against the No. 19 Missouri Tigers in the Big 12 conference title game on Saturday (8 pm ET, ABC).

betED.com NCAA Football Betting Odds have the Sooners as 17-point favorites and the over/under at 80 for the matchup, which pits the Big 12 South champion Sooners against the North champion Tigers at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

Oklahoma has dominated Missouri over the past eight meetings, going 7-1 SU. But against the spread, each team has covered four times over that span. The teams last squared off on Dec. 1 last season, when Oklahoma won 38-17, easily covering as 3-point road favorites. The score went under the total of 64.5.

Missouri is 9-3 SU, 5-6 ATS and 5-3 SU in Big 12 play this season. Oklahoma is 11-1 SU, 9-2 ATS and 7-1 SU in the Big 12.

In the Tigers? last tilt, Chase Daniel threw for 293 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions as Missouri lost 40-37 to Kansas. The Tigers failed to cover the 16.5-point spread and the score went over the total of 70.

Sam Bradford threw four TD passes and ran for another in Week 14, as Oklahoma defeated Oklahoma State 61-41. Oklahoma covered the 9-point spread, and the 102 points went well over the 75-point total.

Bradford completed 30-of-44 for 371 yards, and Jermaine Gresham had nine catches for 158 yards with two touchdowns in the win.

Missouri is 0-5 SU in the past five meetings. Missouri is 4-1 SU in its past five overall, but just 2-5 ATS in its past seven overall. Oklahoma is 5-0 SU and ATS in its past five. The total has gone over in five of Oklahoma's past five.
