OU -36.5 over Tulsa.I took those numbers last nite.I think the line jumped to 37.5 today.
OU is loaded.Griffin,Smith,LehmanWoolfolk,White,etc,etc
These guys are all up for the Outlands,Lombardi's,etc.
You can look at lyr's game and see Tulsa couldn't move the ball.On 34 carries they gained 48 yds.Passed for another 90 yds in a 58-0.Tulsa defense gave up huge numbers.OU got 25 1st downs,366 yds in the air and 175 on the ground.
TU has a new QB in Gooch who can run the ball.The problem is this is a new offense and transition could take time.OU OL should dictate the off.White at QB can run and throw.Griffin can break one on any play.WR's are speedsters.White will have great protection all day.
OU DL,LB's and Db's are all athletic.They have so much speed compared to the Golden canes.TU OL won't be able to stop blitzes,etc
OU offense should dominate vs a TU defense that gave up 35 pts a game and 446 yds.
OU defense will shut down TU offense.Hooch can do all the running he wants.Most of it will be running the wrong way.
I know the margin of victory is not included in the BCS voting and Stoops doesn't want to show Bama any new plays but OU is so much more athletic.I think they win this by the spread.OU is also playing in front of a lot of their fans in Tulsa.
OU has changed their offense from the 1-back.I'm sure we won't see everything tonite.
OU wins this by 40. Defense should score 1 and maybe a special team another one. Will post 2 or 3 games I like tomr. GL
