been betting since 1997...not terribly long but long enough to have some experience. been burned by a couple of offshore books, most recently Aces Gold. Still have a couple of accounts offshore but im looking for alternatives.

how the heck can i obtain a 'local'? Please dont flame me and im not looking for specific contacts or anything. just that i live in Los Angeles I would figure I would be able to make some contacts but I have yet to come across somebody i can do buisness with. Been to local sports bars and stuff and have struck up conversations but no leads. any tips or help to finding somebody who will take action would be appreciated. email me if you prefer not to post. again, please no flaming...it's an honest question. also, what are the $$ limits with most of these guys? never dealt with a local before...any experiences good or bad would also be appreciated. thanks

Thoroughbred track in your area or OTB place, even if you don't bet on horses this is a place to look, news stand that sells racing programs or the like, the guy behind the counter always knows someone, golf course, cigar shop etc....

In LA it should not be hard to find one, the trick is to find one that pays and not just collects.
