sound system with new Dell systems

is dogshit.

I got a Dell years back and it came with some killer harmon/kardon speakers and a solid subwoofer.
My recently scored system came with some kinda generic or no-name speakers--maybe Dell brand or something. The sound quality is shit.
I think I'm hooking up my old speakers, already.
